In-House Prospect Skate

The yearly tradition continued this year as NYR/GPR held our Year-End In-House Skate. Fun was had by all, and the NYR Jr. A Coaching staff was pleased to see the up and coming talent within the organization.

About Us...
The North York Rangers are proud of being a part of the 50 plus year tradition of the Goulding Park Hockey Association, in providing competitive hockey to the community at all levels. Combined with Goulding and the North York Rangers OHA Jr A team, we offer approximately 1,000 children the opportunity to learn and develop their hockey skills, from the age of 4 when a child first puts on skates through to our Juvenile AAA and OHA Junior A teams.

On April 5, 1995 Les Vinton the General Manager of the Goulding Park Hockey Club was given permission by the MTHL (before it became the Greater Toronto Hockey League or GTHL) to form a “Major series club”. At that time “current” MTHL policy required only that Goulding operate the Major division with a different name and have a separate General Manager.

Times have changed. Today we are required not only to have a separate name President and General Manager, we are required to be incorporated separately from the Goulding Park Hockey Association.

As a community based not for profit association we operate only with volunteers who contributed more than 40,000 hours during the past season (AA and AAA combined).

The Executive of the North York Rangers AAA Hockey Club reports to a Board of Directors, which includes; Dave Mitchell, Harry Ort, John Carriere, Steve Davis, Brant Snow, and Claude Desjardins.
